Useful For

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a glycoprotein synthesized by the cells of the placenta. HCG is useful for diagnosing pregnancy.

Other sources of Increased levels of hCG: ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion and recent termination of pregnancy.
