Useful For

Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic which exhibits high potency. It exhibits a narrow therapeutic index and accurate monitoring of the serum levels is required along with renal function evaluation.

Special Instructions

Note: Trough level should be drawn just prior to next dose. 

            Peak level should be drawn 30 minutes after completion of infusion of an intravenous dose.
